2010 Legacies Now hosts two online communities: a Community of Practice for the arts and sport sectors, and the Community of Literacy Practice for literacy practitioners and supporters.
     

    Community of Practice

    The Community of Practice is an interactive website tool to assist groups involved in community planning and development.

    This online service facilitates communication and the sharing of information, resources and best practices. Registered users and 2010 Legacies Now staff can post documents and other files, engage in discussions, and conduct live, online meetings when required.

    Current users are members of provincial sport and multi-sport organizations and community recreation coordinators who work with 2010 Legacies Now on various projects and initiatives.

    The Community of Literacy Practice is a networking tool for literacy practitioners and supporters to share resources, questions, new ideas and information about literacy.

    Current users include community literacy task groups and local/regional literacy coordinators; literacy practitioners, early learning educators, school districts, and community service organizations
