Literacy and Learning programs

Literacy and Life Long Learning programs

Leading up to the Games, 2010 Legacies Now consulted with communities to hear what they needed in the way of literacy support. We leveraged the power and excitement of the 2010 Winter Games to help them create action plans, establish partnerships, and source resources to improve literacy and lifelong learning in communities throughout BC.

In May 2011, we partnered with Literacy BC to launch a new provincial literacy organization that would continue our literacy development work moving forward. This new organization, Decoda Literacy Solutions, will expand on the work and experience of Literacy BC and 2010 Legacies Now to further promote and advance literacy throughout BC.
